a. Socrates is on trial for his life, yet the talks about the “pain I gave you.” Why does is he not the recipient of pain? What pain does he give his accusers?

b. Kreeft says that we need pain. Do you agree? What sort of pain does he mean?

c. Christianity is about the Cross. How have the words of Socrates helped you to understand why Jesus died?
