37. Philosophy is immortal

a. In Heaven, Socrates hopes “to go on cross-examining the people there, as I did those here.” What does this tell you about how Socrates thinks about Heaven?

b. Do you think philosophy will be necessary in Heaven? Will we need to learn anything new there? (Refer to Bible verses such as Rom. 8:18,1 Cor. 13:10, and 1 Cor. 15:28 in your answer.)

c. Is philosophy pain or pleasure? What do you think your answer reveals?
